For most of Aly Raisman’s career, she maintained a narrow focus as she wanted to be the best gymnast that she could be. And she wanted to do so on the world stage.
Things have changed, though. She still wants to be her best, but the only judge now is herself.
“If I’m working as hard as I can and being the best version of myself, that’s really all that I can do,” said Raisman. “At the end of the day, it’s really important for me not to define myself by the score from the judges or the opinions of others. Rather, I define myself by my effort and how I feel.”
Never one to rest on her laurels, Raisman is committed to winning the daywith a holistic approach to wellness that includes exercise, recovery, and mindfulness.
The Boston-area native is now swimming, meditating, gardening, and finding what sparks joy.
As part of that journey, she has teamed up with the Master Spas family, joining the Fort Wayne, Indiana-based company as a brand ambassador.
